CYC 2025:
(Carolina Youth Convention)
November 21-23, 2025
at The GREAT WOLF LODGE, Charlotte, NC
CYC is an annual gathering of Middle & High School students, Young Adults, and Pastors and Youth Leaders from across the North & South Carolina who come together for a weekend of worship, community, fun, and much more. 
*This event is for any student 6th-12th grade!  This event is also open to young adults under 21 years of age.

**The GWL is a CASHLESS resort!! You will NOT be able to use cash for anything there!  I suggest students bring a prepaid card for purchases if needed.

> Check-in on Friday is 4pm, however, groups may enjoy the water park starting at 1pm!
> Check-out on Sunday is 11am, however, groups can still enjoy the water park for the entire day!

> CYC Registration is $80 per person.
*To receive the free CYC t-shirt, registrations must be in by
November 3rd!.  Students may register after that, but they will not receive the tshirt.

> Hotel: $203.39 per night - sleeps 6  (2 queen beds and a sofa bed)
    = about $34 pp, per night.
*Each group will book and pay for their own rooms.

(Full price afterwards!) One night deposit is required at booking.
**NO more than 6 people to a room!
​*Rooms can be canceled 72 hours prior to check-in.
 Rooms canceled within 72 hours will be subject to 1 night's cost.

> CYC is open to ANY and ALL students 6-12th grades, and to graduated/college-age students under 21 years old.

> All meals are on your own. (Our group usually does a "grab breakfast" which consist of muffins, pop-tarts, fruit, etc. and milk & juice. The GWL also has different restaurants.  If you do bring food in, please keep it contained to your rooms. The GWL does not allowed outside food in the common areas of the resort, only in your rooms.

> Each group is asked to bring items for our outreach project.
This year's project is packets for the homeless.
Below is a list of items needed.  Please email or text me which item(s) your group would like to bring. If your group is unable to bring anything, it's not a problem, just let me know.

Payments (registrations only):  Please bring payment for your entire group (adults & students) to check-in on the first day.
We accept checks only, payable to Carolina Ministries.
*** Cancellations after November 16th will still need to pay the registration fee!

Adult Leadership Institute (ALI)
When:  February 2026
Where:  Myrtle Beach, SC
Our Carolina Ministries Youth Leadership Team has started an Adult Leadership Institute. This retreat helps equip youth pastors, directors, and volunteer leaders for youth ministry.  At ALI, we discuss the  different aspects of youth ministry, and share ideas, methods, trends and resources.  A Facebook group has also been established to network, share resources, communicate, and ask questions.

Cost: Individual - $155,  Couple/Family - $200
Price includes 2 nights lodging at the Landmark or Crown Reef Resort​ in Myrtle Beach, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner on Saturday, and Breakfast on Sunday.
*Parking is $12 per car per night.

SLT (Student Leadership Team):
To help developing young leaders, Carolina Ministries has a Student Leadership Team (SLT) in which adult leaders and teens serve on a committee that plans and leads Kids Camp, Teen Camp and the Carolina State Youth Convention. Rising 9-12th grades may submit an application.  After the application has been received, an interview will be set up.
Requirements:
    > Jesus is Lord of your life.
    > Attend Sunday service at least 2 times a month.
    > Attend youth group at least 2 times a month.
Those who are interested, must first submit a Letter of Recommendation from their Senior Pastor and a letter from their Youth Pastor/Director. Send to [email protected].
