Minister's and Spouse's Retreat
in Myrtle Beach, SC
This annual retreat has proved to be a great time for relaxation, renewal and connecting with others in ministry. There is a great balance of conference time, time for fellowship and free time.
Our next retreat is February 26-28, 2024 and will be held the Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Come and join your colleagues in ministry for a great time of refreshment and renewal! This year we'll be back to our regular location at the Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle beach. This is for PASTORS, ASSOCIATE PASTORS, MINISTERS AND THEIR SPOUSES.
This year we will be having pastor & author Karl Vaters leading us in our conference and sharing times. He has written several books on pastoring small churches. He affirms the ministry of smaller, healthy churches! I’m sure you will be encouraged by the conference time! The schedule will include structured times for prayer, worship, fellowship and time to rest. We try not to ‘over schedule so you can have time for what will help you recharge and renew!
Both NC GA and SC GA are offering $100 scholarships for the first 10 ministers from those assemblies who apply for them! These are provided by the General Assemblies for ONLY ORDAINED MINISTERS FROM NCGA AND SCGA GENERAL ASSEMBLIES.
The registration fee is $140 per person based on double occupancy. For Ministers and Spouse the rate is $275 per couple.
If you would like a single room that rate is $250 per person. The registration fee includes two nights lodging, breakfast and dinner on Tuesday, and breakfast on Wednesday. Dinner on Monday night is NOT included this year.
The retreat will begin on Monday at 7:00 PM and conclude on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Participants are asked to plan to stay for the entire retreat if at all possible. Early registration will help ensure we have an adequate amount of housing. The resort can be viewed at www.crownreef.com
