After being unable to have it, we are excited to have our Women In Ministry Retreat again this year! The dates are Nov. 7-9, 2025. We will be staying at the Hampton Inn in North Charleston, SC.
North Carolina General Assembly endowment fund is covering the cost registration cost.
This is provided for licensed and ordained female ministers and pastors or wives of licensed or ordained ministers or pastors. Thank you NCGA!
REGISTRATION DEADLINE OCT. 5, 2025
This retreat is for all female pastors, licensed or ordained ministers and pastor's wives. This is a great opportunity for encouragement, renewal from the Word, prayer and laughter!
Dear Sisters in Ministry, I can hardly wait for us to be together again at our 2025 Women in Ministry Retreat! Please remind your CHoG Sisters who are licensed or ordained ministers, or married to someone who is, to join us for this year’s retreat.
Many of us have come full circle! We are returning to Charleston, where we walked the streets in 2005. Some of our sweet sisters who walked arm in arm with us then are now walking the streets of gold in heaven, but their legacy continues to inspire and guide us—women like Rev. Velma Champlain, Sister Maxine McCaw, and Rev. Laura Washington, to name just a few.
This year’s theme is Fresh Fire! Isaiah 64:1-4 says, “Oh that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence— as when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil…” This prophetic prayer expresses a longing for a powerful, fresh encounter with God’s presence, like a fire that ignites everything in its path. We invite you to begin praying now—come expecting, claiming, and ready to receive a Fresh Fire during this year’s retreat.
We are so excited to spend time laughing, playing games, encouraging one another, diving into God’s Word, and praying together. There will also be plenty of time on Saturday afternoon to relax, nap, or even go on a shopping adventure! This is a chance to recharge and refresh your spirit, so pack your Bible, comfy clothes, and come ready to enjoy some sweet fellowship.
If finances are a concern, please don’t let that hold you back—our North Carolina General Assembly endowment fund is covering the cost of the hotel and dinner. The hotel will provide breakfast, and lunch will be on your own. We want to ensure that every woman who wants to attend can do so without any financial worry. If you need assistance, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of. You are supported and loved in your ministry journey.
Please complete the registration form above so we know how many women will be attending. Each room will host two guests, so please indicate your preferred roommate on the form. If you prefer a single room, please let us know, and be aware that you'll need to cover the additional cost.
We look forward to seeing you in November! Love, Carol Claypool
